Here is a product shot I did in my bedroom. I just used a light to the side of the camera with a diffuser to diffuse the shadow. Furthermore, I positioned a piece of card to the right to eliminate more shadow by reflecting the light. This image could have been improved with a longer exposure or by going up a stop. Also putting a light with a softbox in front of the camera could have produced an interesting light and shape on the lense of the camera
